Currently rising in the twilight sky is Jupiter.

Around midnight, Jupiter is currently rising on the eastern horizon in the night sky, dominating with an amazing -2.5 magnitude.

The planet will migrate up into your frame of view and away from the obscuring horizon as the night wears on.

It has been a stunning past month for Jupiter, which is not only bright and big in the sky, 

 This rare five-planet conjunction even had each world in its appropriate order from the sun.

By the way, all of these alignments occurred because the sun, moon, and planets are all lined up on the ecliptic, a plane in the sky.
