SpaceX launches from an expanding Florida facility, sending cargo to the space station.

Following a beautiful Thursday evening launch from the Kennedy Space Center, almost 6,000 pounds of cargo and experiments are on their way to the space station.

At 8:44 p.m., SpaceX's 25th cargo mission lifted out aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.

A little while later, the booster made its fifth successful landing on the company's drone ship at sea.

The Dragon spacecraft, which is already in orbit and on its third supply mission, is scheduled to arrive early on Saturday.

Other CRS-25 studies, according to NASA, will examine immune cell ageing and the possibility of counteracting its impacts.

The capsule will touch down early on Saturday, the 53rd anniversary of the Apollo XI launch.

That structure will support the enormous new Starship rocket from SpaceX during takeoffs and landings.
